Centred around the only Chinese barman in Malta, the main characters are Harry, George and Aris, three ex servicemen who have retired to Malta. It is the story of their adventures and of the day to day life in the village. The book is full of rich characters, a little bar room philosophy on religious and political matters, some nostalgia, a lot of happy times and some sad.
