Captain Angel

CAPTAIN ANGEL is a fictional account of how the French town of La Ciotat survived the plague of 1720. In those lawless days, La Ciotat, not far from the port of Marseille on the Mediterranian coast of France, was also home to a motley collection of pirates led by Captain Angel of 'La Fleur de Ciotat' the fastest and best armed ship afloat. The story tells of how the town was saved by Captain Angel and his pirate crew, with more than a little help from a boy named Joseph and his young sister Jeanne.
