The Long Way Home

The Long Way Home is the touching and heart felt journey of Ellen Curtis, a middle aged woman suddenly replaced by a younger version of herself after years of marriage. Ellen will spend the next six years devoting all of her time to her children and her nursing career. Now that her children are older, it's time for Ellen to begin her own life and she boldly moves from the Midwest to Arizona.



At forty-eight, she finds that the art of dating isn't like it used to be. With the encouragement of her mother and her children, Ellen tests out the waters of internet dating, and in the process learns to laugh again. Over time, the strong, confident and feminine woman within her begins to emerge and Ellen finds that she is once again ready to love and be loved.



She meets Michael, a handsome, successful investment broker, who charms his way into her heart. In Michael, Ellen would experience a once in a lifetime love affair, only to have it taken from her.
