Dr Ilona Bendefy MB, BS, MRCP (Paeds) is a GP, community paediatrician, and mother of four. After gaining a medical degree at St Thomas' Hospital in London, Dr Bendefy worked as a hospital paediatrician for seven years. She went on to train as a GP in a London practice where she became a partner. In 1997, she moved from London to Derbyshire, where she worked for a time as a paediatrician at Sheffield Children's Hospital. She now practises as a GP in Derbyshire.
