Jeremy Strong, a former primary headteacher, has been writing for children for many years. He is hugely popular with children - he won the 1997 Children's Book Award for THE HUNDRED MILE-AN-HOUR DOG and was shortlisted for the Award in 1998 for MY GRANNY'S GREAT ESCAPE.
