Kawaii Design+ (Inspire Series)

Literally meaning "cute," kawaii embraces various elements of Japanese visual culture that reflect this
aesthetic. While not a new phenomenon, its prevalence continues to grow, gathering new fans and admirers of all ages and influencing contemporary art and popular culture around the globe. Kawaii Design+ collects the work of approximately 30 young artists and designers as they each bring their own unique voice to an interpretation of the concept both in text and in form.
