At the Altar of the World: The Pontificate of Pope John Paul II Through the Lens of L'Osservatore Romano and the Words of Ecclesia de Eucharistia

The Pope John Paul II Cultural Center celebrated the Silver Jubilee Year in the Pontificate of Pope John Paul II with a beautifully bound volume featuring more than 200 photographs from the archives of L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican's official newspaper. Thoughtful and thought-provoking essays by eight Catholic bishops and scholars are also inducded. Inspired by the Holy Father's encyclical, Ecclesia de Eucharistia, this monograph uniquely demonstrates the Holy Father's devotion to the Eucharist, which was at the center of his 25-year pontificate.
