Babar Comes to America (Babar (Harry N. Abrams))

A re-issue of a book first published in 1965. When Babar and his family first travelled to the U.S. it was in 1965. Among the places they visited: NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans,the suburbs, Death Valley, the forests, etc..Today it is fun to look at the book, especially to see things and places they not longer exist. Such as, they fly on Pan Am (and the Pan Am building is featured); people are dressed in 60s fashions; there are phone booths (the glassed in kind) and much more.
