This volume examines the influence of ethnicity, gender, and generation on our health choices, focusing in particular on the the choices of British Asian mothers: Asian women who are born and raised in Britain but are members of a globally dispersed ethnic group. The author uses original empirical research to explore the interconnections between the different factors and the ways in which these women combine western and nonwestern health discourses in their daily lives.
