One of the founders of humanistic psychology, Abraham Maslow, developed theories on human behaviour and motivation that have had a major impact on the public consciousness. His theories shaped not only psychology but many other fields, including counselling, education and management. At the time of his death 25 years ago, Maslow left a vast collection of articles, essays and letters intended for publication: now the noted Maslow biographer, Edward Hoffman, has compiled the most compelling of these writings into one volume.
