Das Album lässt sich als einzigartigen Mix aus Country, Folk und Rock beschreiben. Seit sie 16 ist, reist Courtney Marie Andrews als Background-Sängerin und Gitarristin umher. Mittlerweile stand sie für fast 40 Bands auf der Bühne, unter anderem für Damien Jurado und Jimmy Eat World. Dabei schrieb sie aber auch immer ihre eigene Musik.
