    Mélodies (Ravel/Debussy)

    Description

    Nathalie Stutzmann (Alt)
    Catherine Collard (Piano)

Nathalie Stutzmann was born in Paris in 1965 and is one of the leading vocal talents in France today. The extraordinary quality of her alto voice and her extensive musical training (which has included prizes in piano, chamber music, bassoon and natural singing) make her just as comfortable with baroque, classical and particularly German romantic repertoire, as she is with French works of the 19th and 20th Centuries. In 1998, Nathalie Stutzmann won the Bertelsmann Foundation's Neue Stimmen - Europäischer Sängerwettstreit.

This extraordinary album which Nathalie Stutzmann recorded with the renowned pianist Catherine Collard in 1991 is now finally been reissued by Newton Classics and will doubtlessly be well received by the many fans of Ms Stutzmann.
