Emma Logan, best selling author, wife and mother is quite happy in her present situation living in Ventura, CA. She's stayed away from past and family until Helen Weiss, her free-spirited cousin arrives in town. Recently widowed in a tragic accident and losing the only man who has ever loved her, Helen, moves to Ventura in search of family. She is haunted by her dead husband and realizes that her time is limited on this plane of existence. She then proceeds to weave a web of friendship and love wherever she goes, and invites Emma into her circle. Emma, reluctant at first, gets to know Helen but gradually realizes the blessing her cousin has become to herself and all of those around her. Life is to be lived! Lachaim!
