Teagan is the bastard seed of
the tyrant Emperor Bohannon.

The planet Haven has been purged of all life, twenty million souls
died because she lives.

The Emperor has a dream. He sees the two moons of Haven

Teagan is a servant and slave and beloved of the working
class on Beasly. She has the imperial Black Rose of
Bohannon tattooed on her left shoulder and the population of
Beasly knows exactly what they have in their midst. It's for
her to find support to win the throne and leave her father dead
at her feet.

Teagan looks to the crowd. "The Emperor rules the land but I
rule your heart. Which is stronger, the soil or the plow? I say
