Graceling

In a world where people born with an exceptional skill, or Grace, are feared and exploited, Katsa carries the burden of a skill even she despises: the Grace of killing. But finding carrying out her uncle's dirty work increasingly unbearable, Katsa begins to turn against the violence she's been brought up with. As she begins to rebel, she also stumbles across a mystery which leads her into a story of political intrigue, romance and death-defying adventure, up against the most powerful, dark and insidious of enemies.
