Description

With carefully designed content and graded learning levels, the series "Short-Term Spoken Chinese" emphasizes the training of listening and speaking skills, and the authentication in language materials selection. Communicative exercises are increased, and various teaching aids such as pictures, real objects are provided to enrich the teaching content.
The second edition replaces outdated contents with those contents in closer relationship with contemporary Chinese society. Certain adjustment was made to the language points according to the teacher's feedback during the past years.

"Short-term Spoken Chinese - Threshold - Volume 1" teaches students to speak beginning Chinese in a short period of time. Each book has 15 lessons and each lesson consists of vocabulary, text, grammer, exercises, and more. At the end of each unit, a short text introduces Chinese culture in English and Chinese. A companion CD is available.
