Suburra

Rome , 2011. The Roman underworld is getting ready to get their hands on the deal of the century : the Great Project , a gigantic speculation that will bury under concrete suburbs east and south of the capital. The deal involves politicians, prelates , administrators. Spadino, a small drug dealer, tries to make the leap blackmailing Mr Malgradi . But in Rome gangs have divided the territory, and there is no room for a maverick like him. Spadino is killed by the boss of Ostia Ponente. His death , however, sounds like a declaration of war , which in fact explodes between the gangs of Ostia and Cinecittà .
