Los túneles del paraíso (Andanzas, Band 11)

After decades of debate, legislation and projects, and for the progress of trade and greater proximity between people, finally, in 1881, tendered the works of the two rail lines that will connect to Salamanca with Portugal. Two years later they began the great adventure: the hard and slow construction of a railroad that will become a real saga for hundreds of workers who are hired with little questioning by the company created for the occasion, they will work day after day, over five years, to earn a miserable wage clearing the route, building bridges over rivers and tunnels opening to save the rugged terrain.
