This book contains a series of articles that the author wrote for a newspaper in the 1950s tracing a sentimental chronicle of his native land. Even though he left it incomplete, as so many of his projects, "El pasajero en Galicia is still one of the best guides to Galicia available, written by the wisest and most delightful guide, who not only writes about what he sees, but who enriches the geography of the places visited with legends, traditions, and stories that date back to the beginning of time. Two more travel chronicles that Cunqueiro composed during his pilgrimages have been included in this volume, as well as other articles about his well-loved Galicia, and others meant to make up yet another unfinished series to be titled "Introduction to a History of Galician Taverns.
