The times of tribulation are not new. Rather, they seem to always accompany man: rulers and empires fell like houses of cards, famines and plagues decimated the population, religious disputes were stained with blood. The responses of men to the tribulation are not. Seneca suggested the following two thousand years ago: "When you can not suffer anything, it is best to know suffering." Perhaps it is therefore advisable to go back and retrieve knowledge in the wisdom of our forefathers the keys to facing the new troubled times ahead in every life.
