Flamboyant Flowers

Flamboyant Flowers is no ordinary 365 floral tear-off calendar. Inspired by pioneers such as Karl Blossfeldt, the "snowflakes" photographer Wilson Bentley and the Japanese floral artist Makota Azuma or Andy Wahrhol, the calendar is based on over 10.000 pictures of mostly self-cultivated flowers. Flamboyant Flowers reminds us that floral beauty is above all something natural, but also transient. The diversity of the many flamboyant pictures reveals rarely perceived details full of "architectural" sophistication and filigree splendor.
