"Young Europe" versammelt fünf Theaterstücke aus Zypern, Frankreich, Deutschland und den Niederlanden, die von den Träumen und Hoffnungen, Sorgen und Ängsten junger Menschen in Europa erzählen. Sie sind das Ergebnis eines einzigartigen europäischen Projekts der European Theatre Convention, an dem 17 Theater in 12 Ländern beteiligt waren. Gemeinsam von Autoren, Jugendlichen und Theaterpädagogen entwickelt, ist so ein zukunftsweisendes europäisches Repertoire zeitgenössischer Stücke für Schulen und Theater entstanden, das in allen beteiligten Städten (Amsterdam, Berlin, Helsinki, Karlsruhe, Miskolc, Nikosia, Oslo und Straßburg) präsentiert wurde.

"Young Europe" brings together five plays from Cyprus, France, Germany and the Netherlands about the dreams and aspirations, the fears and anxieties of young people in Europe. They are the result of a unique European project of the European Theatre Convention in which 17 theatres in 12 countries were involved. Developed in collaboration with playwrights, young people and theatre educators, they represent a pioneering European repertoire of contemporary plays for schools and theatres which has been staged in all participating cities (Amsterdam, Berlin, Helsinki, Karlsruhe, Miskolc, Nicosia, Oslo and Strasbourg).
