Our School Garden
This book provides a wealth of inspiration and ideas for planning, establishing and maintaining school gardens. In view of the great diversity of school gardens, the book examines the different possibilities for the range of uses that teachers associate with a school garden.
Basic knowledge and specific advice for gardening with schoolchildren are given in an introductory course, which examines how to grow useful plants, and also how to establish biotopes. Additionally, the experiences of nature that school gardens make possible are presented in detail, and interdisciplinary aspects are also addressed.
