Asphalt Tribe (englisch)

The "Asphalt Tribe" consists of eight members trying to survive on the streets of New York: Rainbow, who is on the needle, the anarchist Maggot, 2Moro and Jewel, who both earn their living with prostitution, OG and his dog Pest, little Tears and Maybe, the narrator.
Maybe talks about the cold, enduring hunger, social workers and pimps, and all the nights they spent dancing followed by days full of sleep. And she talks about pride and humiliation.
But the price of freedom is high and requires a deadly toll.
