Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Related to Congenital Heart Disease

Outstanding advances in the treatment of congenital heart disease have been achieved. However, the management of pulmonary arterial hypertension still remains one of the major challenges.
In this monograph, the current knowledge of pulmonary arterial hypertension associated with congenital heart disease in pediatric and adult patients is presented. The first part is dedicated to the classification, epidemiology and pathophysiology followed by a second dedicated to the clinical aspects with a particular focus on new potential therapies and the post-operative period.
